The Ford Aviation Consultants team offers a unique combination of business acumen and drive including expertise in client relationship management, strategic marketing, conflict resolution, financial analysis, proposal writing, lobbying, and a passion for saving airports. We are consummate professionals who are dedicated to helping airports to successfully navigate the complex federal Airport Improvement Program (AIP) process and receive the grants to which they are entitled.

Carol Ford has spent 20 years working in support of airports.

She currently is on the Board of Directors and is a past President of the San Carlos Airport Pilots Association. Carol is the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) representative for San Carlos airport. And, is the alternate for General Aviation on the San Mateo County Airport Land Use Committee (ALUC) as well as the SFO Airport/ Community Roundtable.

After receiving the Airport Defender of the Year Award from the California Pilots Association in 1997, Carol became a Director at Large. She is currently the CPA vice president of Region 3.

Carol is a founding Board member of Friends of San Carlos Airport Political Action Committee and currently serves as Executive Director.

Carol holds a private pilot certificate.

Outside of aviation, Carol owned and operated a food brokerage company (specializing in desserts) for 11 years. She has also served as a Director on the Board of the Redwood Shores Community Association for 20 years.
